Here is what you’ll need!
STUFFED CRUST PIZZA
1 cup water, warm
1 0.25-ounce packet dry active yeast
½ teaspoon sugar
2½ cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
8-9 sticks string cheese
Pizza sauce, to preference
Shredded mozzarella, to preference
Toppings of preference (we used pepperoni and basil)
¼ cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon garlic salt
Preheat oven to 425°F/220°C.
Combine water with sugar and yeast, mix thoroughly and let bloom for 5-10 minutes.
Add flour, salt, and olive oil, and mix thoroughly until a dough forms. Cover and rest for 30 minutes.
Sprinkle flour over a baking sheet, and transfer dough to the baking sheet. Roll out dough to form a circle.
Line string cheese along the edges of the crust. Fold dough over the string cheese, making sure to securely tuck it under to ensure the cheese doesn’t leak out.
Top crust with marinara, mozzarella, and toppings of choice. Brush crust with butter and top with garlic salt.
Bake 15-20 minutes, until crust is golden brown.
