Hi Friends! Welcome back to my channel. Today I am sharing our summer homeschool plans! Each summer looks different for us as I assess where we are with our lessons from the year and also check in to see if we collectively need more of a break and a slower pace. This summer we will keep workbook learning as light as possible with our summer baskets to include a little math and language arts, our summer reading challenge and learning about the Declaration of Independence to celebrate America’s 250th Birthday! The majority of our summer plans include slower days to just enjoy being together – playing, reading, connecting with friends, playing outside, and going to the beach this summer. I also like to take the summer to focus on cleaning / organizing our homeschool spaces and overall home projects I may not have as much time to get to during the rest of the year. Summer goes by really fast, so my mission is to not overpack our summer but aim to keep up with some workbook education as best we can and then enjoy our summer together!
